Jansen+coAnouk got her design degree in 1995 at Montaigne Institute for Fashion Management & Design in Amsterdam (now well known as AMFI). After an internship at Giocca in Milan Anouk started working at Present Time. She started as buyer/designer and became creative director and shareholder of the company for several years.
Besides her day job Anouk has found time to work with Jan des Bouvrie as stylist for TV Woonmagazine for several seasons, one of the first interior make over design shows in Holland. She also made shopping reports for SBS6 and made items as trend reporter for several other broadcasting stations.
After seven professional years she needed some time off to revaluate life and work. Little while later companies out of the design industry contacted her and asked her to help them with improving their collections, to help them to produce and source the best manufacturers, writing and creating concepts for design events and tradeshows. Step by step Anouk started helping and consulting national and international companies out and before she new, a new business was started.
Since 2006 she founded the company Jansen+co where her husband Harm Magis joined in. Main activities of the company are design, development and production of table top and kitchen products.
In the Autumn of 2006, they launched their first Jansen+co collection of functional tabletop and home accessories. The designs are quirky and all products are truly original.
In order to support creativity and its commercial value she is giving workshops to different kind of companies and teaching students at the Artemis Styling Academy in Amsterdam.
